New generation Dockmate even easier to use, connects directly to Twin Disc controls
Dockmate, the popular and affordable wireless control system that enables skippers to remotely control their engines and other controls without losing any feeling or response time is now even easier and more intuitive to use, thanks to a comprehensive hardware and ergonomic upgrade.
Suitable for single- and twin-engine controls, Dockmate now features a new layout, complete with remodeled buttons, designed to give operators a far more tactile feel. The addition of a vibration response, alongside the existing visual (LED) and audible (buzzer), increases safety and delivers a more intuitive experience.
The latest upgrade also means Dockmate is now completely compatible with CANbus EC300 Twin Disc controls. Dockmate’s CANbus interface simply connects directly to the Twin Disc’s CAN controls, enabling operation of the Twin Disc’s throttle and shift functions. The connection also enables proportional throttle control by using Dockmate’s TWIST handheld control.
Delivering stress-free docking in all situations, Dockmate is becoming increasingly popular as key waterways become increasingly congested. Dockmate enables skippers to leave their helm stations while remaining in full control of their vessel. Using Dockmate’s wireless hand control options, skippers can operate their thrusters and engine throttles from anywhere on board. This ensures both total control and the best possible visibility while manoeuvring in marinas and other tight quarters.
Dockmate comes with a 3-year factory warranty and its design enables functions to be added at any time.
Dockmate is now available through Lusty and Blundell’s showrooms in Albany, on Auckland’s North Shore; Whangarei and Tauranga.
