Classic retro meets modern functionality in Veratron’s new VMH 35 gauges
Veratron’s new VMH35 gauges are perfect for those wanting the powerful functionality and versatility of a modern digital display with the classic, retro look of a traditional older-style round gauge.
A simple swap in/swap out replacement for older 3.5in gauges, the stylish new VMH35 lets owners easily access all the information they require from either a single hybrid digital display or a bank of multiple displays.
Engineered for single inboard or outboard engine applications, the VMH 35 has the capacity to provide an incredible 30 different types of data. These include the traditional boat speed, engine rpm (up to 8,000 with a programmable overspeed alarm), oil pressure, water temperature and trim; complete navigation information (thanks to an integrated GPS) including current position, compass heading, etc; and, using engine data and the dedicated Veratron IBS (Intelligent Battery System), both the vessel’s fuel capacity and the state of its batteries.
Thanks to an embedded NMEA 2000 gateway, the Veratron VMH 35 can distribute sensor data inputs (such as fuel, trim and tachometer) to other devices such as chartplotters and MFDs, eliminating the need for an additional external converter. Highly adaptable to a wide range of onboard networks, the VMH 35 is also comes with analog inputs, making it just as ideal for use with older engines.
Easily configured using the embedded on-screen menu and soft-touch buttons, the VMH 35 is powered by the latest microprocessor and is both blazingly fast and incredibly economical, drawing just 170mA of power, even at full brightness.
Ideal for both new and older boats undergoing a refit, the VMH 35 is suitable for dashboards, consoles and bulkheads on smaller vessels with limited space. Featuring a mineral glass front that's optically bonded to the sun-readable hybrid display, the VMH 35 boasts a sleek, brushed stainless steel bezel that seamlessly blends with both classic and modern marine designs. Waterproof to IPX7 both front and back, it fits a standard 3-3/8" panel cut-out size and is backed by a two-year warranty.
The Veratron VMH 35 is now available nationwide through Lusty & Blundell’s network of leading marine dealers.
