Relief Shading with Raymarine
There are so many options out there to make your fishing experience more enjoyable, but let’s be honest, all you want is to spend less time stooging looking for good structure and more time fishing a good spot, especially with the rise in fuel costs!
The latest development in chart data is Relief Shading. Created from multibeam surveys and other high-definition data it combines colour and shadow which can be used on its own or to enhance the bathymetric view. This easy-to-interpret colour palette reveals bottom detail of channels, offshore shelves, wrecks, and sandbars, so you can understand your surroundings and easily identify fish holding structure.
Take it a step further and add our 3D fish finding technology, making it easy to “fish around the boat” for up to 180m and up to 22 times the area you would normally see on an ordinary sonar depending on the depth of water.
