Victron’s releases powerful new Ekrano GX

Victron’s powerful new next generation Ekrano GX allows owners and skippers to easily monitor and control all of their vessel’s power sources on one large 7-inch touchscreen display.

 The successor to the Color Control GX, the new Ekrano GX enables the instant monitoring of battery state of charge, power consumption, power harvest from the PV, generator activity and mains status. With both digital and analogue inputs, it also makes it easy to check tank levels and monitor temperatures, control the shore power input current limit, (auto) start/stop generators or change any setting to optimise the system. It also simplifies following up on alerts, performing diagnostic checks and remotely resolving challenges.

 With double the CPU power and offering both display and connectivity in one compact, attractive unit, the multi-purpose Ekrano GX delivers complete control in the most diverse of applications. It provides solutions for marine, RV, off-grid and back-up systems, enabling the automatic switching on or off of generators and the delaying of ignition until the end of “quiet” periods. In energy storage systems, it keeps back-up batteries at 100%, kicks-in during power-cuts and diverts excess (solar) power to self-consumption, saving money. It also keeps vital systems functioning flawlessly on RV and emergency vehicles.

 With a fully waterproof front and able to be recessed, the Ekrano GX can be installed in various locations and, thanks to its wireless and Bluetooth capabilities, it gives owners and skippers complete oversight and control from wherever they are through either the Victron Remote Management portal (VRM) or the popular VictronConnect app.

 The new Ekrano GX comes with two fully functional VE.Can ports, a galvanically isolated VE.Can port, three tank level inputs, two temperature inputs and two digital inputs.
