Lusty & Blundell appointed sole supplier of RoyPow marine energy storage systems

Lusty and Blundell, New Zealand’s leading distributor of high-quality marine products and systems, have been appointed sole supplier of RoyPow marine energy storage systems, designed for use with trolling motors and advanced lithium house battery systems suitable for marine & RV.

With a 3500-plus cycle life, RoyPow lithium batteries can be safely and easily charged on board (without affecting battery life), boast up to 10 years of battery life and come with a long 5-year warranty. 

RoyPow lithium batteries come complete with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing owners to monitor their battery at any time from their mobile phone.

RoyPow batteries also include an internal heating mat that enables them to be charged at external temperatures below zero, common in RV and some marine applications.

RoyPow in collaboration with L&B have also developed an advanced new battery monitoring system, capable of monitoring all of a battery’s critical factors and detecting any faults prior to shut down. This advancement with the RoyPow battery is exclusive to L&B New Zealand.

The new visual and audible monitoring system, which complies with AS/NZS3004.2 and EWOF, can easily be fitted to a helm station. A remote ON/OFF switch, as well as wired extensions for both the display and ON/OFF switches, are also available.

For more advanced applications, the new range of RoyPow LiFePO4 lithium batteries, which are all IP67 rated, are also able to be in integrated into Victron systems through software developed by L&B and Roypow.
