L&B appoints electrical product manager to lead fast-growing electrical division
Lusty and Blundell’s new electrical product manager is an experienced project manager, ocean-crossing sailor and master America’s Cup sailmaker.
Silke Sigley originally trained as a sailmaker in Germany before working for the prestigious North Sails’ US loft. She worked on four America’s Cup campaigns, two each in the US and NZ and sailed around the world on superyachts before working as a superyacht project manager at Alloy Yachts.
She then spent a further 5 years in Auckland working for a marine electrical company before being “head-hunted” by L&B to lead their fast-growing electrical products division.
“Silke’s experience with electrical portfolios and project management made her the perfect fit for the role,” says Lusty and Blundell’s senior product manager Grant Matthews. “We are really happy to have her on board.”
Silke Sigley says she was honoured to be approached by such a prestigious company and is working hard to help grow the company’s already impressive range of electrical products.
“I am also looking forward to further improving our relationships with our existing suppliers and customers and creating new ones.”
