L&B appoints Peter Legg as new account manager
Lusty & Blundell Ltd, New Zealand’s leading distributor and supplier of top-brand marine products and systems, has added Peter Legg to their already formidable and well-respected account management team.
Peter Legg has 20 years experience in the marine industry. He started in chandlery sales, becoming the assistant manager for the United Kingdom’s largest chandlery, before immigrating to New Zealand.
“Peter’s skills and experience in wholesale and retail sales, account management and business development, make him the perfect fit for our fast-expanding sales team,” says L&B sales manager, Bob Fassio.
“We wanted someone with exceptional qualifications, who was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and able to get up to speed quickly and Peter has done just that.
“He is doing an outstanding job for his clients and is helping us take our customer service to the next level.”
Peter Legg says working for Lusty & Blundell has been his career goal since moving to New Zealand.
“It was obviously the number one marine supply company in the country, with an extensive range of first-rate products, and I admire the way they do business,” he says. “It’s great to be working here.”
Peter Legg is based at L&B’s Albany, Auckland headquarters and, in addition to his Auckland-based marine accounts is working on the sales and market expansion of the company’s range of Betta Lead Crystal batteries outside the marine industry.
