Raritan’s Electro Scan is approved as a Grade B sewage treatment system under Resource Management (Marine Pollutions) Regulations 1998

The Electro Scan’s coated electrodes use salt water to generate its own natural disinfectant to kill bacteria and viruses. There’s no need to introduce additional harmful chemicals into the process or environment.

Electro Scan discharges treated waste at levels that are safe for environmentally sensitive areas. Maintenance requirements for the Electro Scan are simple and do not require any harsh chemicals such as hydrochloric acid.

The use of Raritan’s C.H. cleaning solution twice a year removes uric acid from the electrodes and increases plate life. Electro Scan can be installed with manual or electric toilets and integrated for single function operation of the toilet and treatment system.
